The Interview
Well you constructed a killer resume, your power statements are perfected, and you are dressed for success. You just got a call from the company with the perfect job and you have an interview set up in one week. Now what? Do you hit the internet and read all about negotiating skills? Do you study interview techniques and questions? Do you practice in front of a mirror? Well the answer to all these is yes! In fact if you can go to your local Workforce Services or someplace like LDS Employment Resources they have people that will put you through a mock interview. The more practice the better. I have listed some links that will help you in the interview process. You can find Interview Questions for just about any position at about.com. If you follow this lionk to LDS Employment Resources, there might be an office close to you where you can have a mock interview. You don't need to be a member of the LDS faith they help everyone who comes in. You will need to set up an account and you can search jobs and also find the closest location. The link I have provided is to their Registration Page if you're not a member just register as a friend. You can also get to it from LDS.org. If you want your local workforce services I have made a link to servicelocator.org This site has alot of helpful information.
Happy Job Hunting.
